What drives us
Our Values at Sandborn Tree Service
At Sandborn Tree Service, we believe that tree care is more than a service—it’s a responsibility. Every project we take on reflects our deep respect for trees, the environment, and the safety of our team and community. We have held this responsibility and preserved local trees for over 50 years. Here’s what guides us every day:
Tree Preservation Comes First
We love trees. Our first priority is always to preserve and protect them whenever possible. Trees provide shade, shelter, beauty, and critical habitat. Through expert pruning, soil care, and science-based arboricultural practices, we work to ensure trees remain a thriving part of our landscapes for generations to come.
Cleaner Tools for a Quieter Tomorrow
We’re upgrading to include battery-powered tools and saws to reduce noise, cut emissions, and limit fossil fuel use. This means a quieter, cleaner job site for your neighborhood—and a smaller carbon footprint for us all. We also take great care to sanitize tools and equipment to avoid spreading plant pathogens.
Safety Is Our Top Priority
Tree work is dangerous—and we take that seriously. Our crew’s safety is at the heart of everything we do. We follow strict safety protocols, from protective personal equipment to extensive safety training, we make it our top priority to have our team return safely to their families at the end of each and every day. Our team undergoes regular training and certification updates. We invest in modern, efficient, and safe equipment to protect our people and your property.
At the end of the day, our values are simple:
- Respect for trees
- Respect for our team
- Respect for our planet
- Respect for those who entrust us to care for their trees.
- Whether we’re pruning a backyard maple or clearing storm-damaged limbs, we bring the same care, craftsmanship, and commitment to every job.
Driven by Knowledge & Industry Standards
We stay current with the latest ANSI A300 Standards and ISA Best Management Practices to deliver expert care based on the most up-to-date arboricultural science. We believe in continuous learning and improvement, so you always receive the highest quality service. We have more ISA Certified arborists than any other local company, large or small. wwv.isa-arbor.com
Waste Nothing: Reuse, Recycle, Renew
We’re committed to sustainable tree care. Wood waste from removals is processed into mulch and compost to nourish new plant growth. When possible, usable logs are sent to a local nonprofit steam mill to be turned into lumber, giving the tree a second life as a resource. We arrange for your logs to be custom milled by trusted local mills for your project. www.sturgeonsmill.com
